Nogoflani Fofana (1998) is a Paris-based curator whose work combines critical research and curatorial practice at the intersection of art, architecture, and design. She explores the relationship between space, objects, and materiality, engaging with both the legacies of modernism and contemporary practices.
She holds a Master’s degree in Art Market Management (EAC, 2022). Her thesis focused on the Union des Artistes Modernes (1929-1958), examining how designers such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, and Robert Mallet-Stevens shifted from a functional and socially oriented approach to design towards later recognition within museums and the art market, where once-utilitarian objects became rare and highly valued works.
Her interest in 20th-century avant-gardes is complemented by a focus on contemporary architecture and design (SANAA, OMA, Herzog & de Meuron), allowing her to explore continuities and ruptures in the ways architecture and design shape cultural experience.
She curated and directed communication for Exhibition 01 at Fondazione Sozzani with Race Imboden Company, and has collaborated with institutions including Balice Hertling, the Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection, Lafayette Anticipations, and Paris+ par Art Basel.
Through her projects, Nogoflani Fofana bridges research, curatorial conception, and strategic communication, creating dialogues between art, architecture, and design while opening new forms of public experience.
